PRE-RODEO ACTIVITIES begin Saturday with the Fareway Pancake Breakfast 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Tri-State Rodeo grounds in Fort Madison’s Rodeo Park. Admission is free with a rodeo button.

THE 22ND ANNUAL SPECIAL KIDS RODEO begins at 10 a.m. in the Tri-State Rodeo Arena at Fort Madison’s Rodeo Park, for any child or adult who has a mental and/or physical disability. It gives contestants the opportunity to participate in supervised/assisted events such as horse back riding, goat tying, rides in a wagon pulled by draft horses, face painting, and a small petting zoo. There also are the simulated events of bull riding, bronc riding, roping, and barrel racing. Admission is free and, unlike other pre-rodeo events, a rodeo button is NOT required.
