On Tuesday, January 14th, during the 5 O’Clock Freeride, there was a dedicated homage to Rush drummer Neil Peart who passed away the previous Tuesday after a years-long battle with brain cancer. We shared interesting facts about this multi-faceted drummer and lyricist and played Rush songs all hour long.
As the lyrics say:
“Dreams flow across the heartland, feeding on the fires. Dreams transport desires, drive you when you’re down. Dreams transport the ones who need to get out of town.”
