Tom Meredith
Tom Meredith keeps your morning going strong.
We talked to Tom about giving us a Bio to share with you here, and his response was deep and wide-ranging:
“I’ve been working in radio off and on since 1986. I’ve worked in may different formats over my career. Country, adult contemporary, album rock, active rock, classic rock, classic hits, talk. I have a definite affinity for the songs from the greatest decade for music, the 70s. Even though the disco era happened in the 70s, I don’t count that!
My first concert was Jim Stafford (you know…”I don’t like spiders and snakes”…) and Mary MacGregor (you may not know…”Torn between two lovers, feelin like a fool”…). That concert was the summer between my 8th grade and freshman year, 1976 to be exact. The list has only grown since.
It’s a somewhat eclectic list with the likes of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Styx, REO, Kenny Wayne Shepherd as well as Chicago, Earth, Wind & Fire, Luther Vandross, and Kool & the Gang, throw in some Alabama and Montgomery Gentry for good measure. My cd player currently has blues artist Vanessa Collier. There’s nothing like getting to listen to great music all day and get paid to do it!”
And we are glad for your experience, Tom. You can hear Tom 6 days a week… from 10 Am to 3 PM Monday through Saturday.
